God’s Unfailing Love for You

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, LORD, for I hide myself in you.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

The New International Version (Psalms 143:8–10). (2011). Zondervan.

In a world where you may question if there is true unconditional, pure, undying love, you can have hope in knowing that God’s love is everlasting, unconditional, and unfailing.

“Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child?

Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!

See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.”

Tyndale House Publishers. (2015). Holy Bible: New Living Translation (Isaiah 49:15–16a).

Think of the compassion, love, and commitment in this scripture.

A true loving mother would never neglect or abandon her child. The same is true for God’s love for you.

In fact, His love goes even deeper to reveal that He has written your name on the palms of His hands.

When Jesus was on the cross, He had your name engraved on His hands.

Tyndale House Publishers. (2015). Holy Bible: New Living Translation (Jerimaiah 17:7–8).

There is a blessing to those who have placed their trust and hope in the Lord. They are like deep-rooted trees planted along an endless supply of water.

Tyndale House Publishers. (2015). Holy Bible: New Living Translation (John 14:27).

One of many gifts Jesus has given those who believe is peace of mind and heart.

Many people think forgiveness is releasing the individual that has wronged you from any punishment of consequence for their actions.

However, that is not the case.

Forgiveness is releasing yourself from the power the individual has taken from you.

When you forgive someone, it really isn’t about the individual that wronged you. It is you gaining your power back and saying, “You have robbed me long enough from my joy, peace, and power. Today I’m taking it back!”
